Eric began his legal career at Jordan & Sidoti, LLP in 2010 defending the rights of those accused of being on the wrong side of the law. He defended clients with matters ranging from minor misdemeanor traffic offenses to high level felony offenses such as Rape, Felonious Assault, and Drug Possession.
In 2014, he expanded his practice to North Carolina where he sharpened his trial skills in both the criminal and civil arena. He has gained invaluable experience due to the spectrum of cases he has handled and the various courtrooms in which he has practiced. He remains licensed in North Carolina and periodical handles and/or consults on matters involving misdemeanor traffic issues.
Since 2015, Eric has focused solely on OVI/DUI defense throughout Ohio. He is certified by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration “NHTSA” for successfully completing training on the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests that are administered roadside by officers suspecting persons of OVI/DUI. This training and certification allow him to successfully defend any and all OVI/DUI cases and provides him with knowledge and insight otherwise disregarded by untrained lawyers. He has successfully represented clients throughout the state of Ohio, winning Motions to Suppress—resulting in case dismissal, and obtaining not guilty verdicts at trial. Eric is a member of the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, National College for DUI Defense, and Ohio State Bar Association.
At Bret Jordan Co., LPA, Eric has expanded his practice throughout Northeast Ohio and handles all OVI and misdemeanor matters for the firm. Contact Eric regarding any legal consultations.
